EraThr3 M-LOK AR-15 Rail

The EraThr3 M-LOK AR-15 Rail is a solid top notch choice. What you want in a rail is less weight and same strength. The EraThr3 M-LOK AR-15 Rail certainly does that. A rail does not have to be overly bulky and heavy. There are tons of rails out there, some really great and some not. I have used

Parallax Tactical's lightweight rail in the past and liked it. But the EraThr3 M-LOK AR-15 Rail is lightweight and just as durable. So for the Budget Jack Carbine AR-15 Build I chose EraThr3's 12" M-LOK AR-15 Rail. With the barrel nut that only cost me 9 ounces total weight! The EraThr3 M-LOK AR-15 Rail, I call this their lightweight rail, has the middle part of the picatinney rail removed to save weight. If your not a super operator needing to use laser and light sabers there is no reason you need it. It provides a small section in the front and back, but no pic rail in the middle. On the Budget Jack Carbine AR-15 Build I wanted at most backup sights and a light, that is it. So this fit that need perfectly and actually allowed me to bed the tape switch for my Streamlight Pro Tac Rail Mount 1 light into where the picatinney would have been. So it worked out nicely.

Easy installation, it installs like any other rail. Using a steel barrel nut you are getting a strong

foundation to mount the rail. Use AeroShell 33MS grease on the barrel/barrel nut connection as you would on any good build. It does provides a anti-rotation pin slot if your build support that. The one complaint I have had with some other companies rails is using small screws to attach the rail to the barrel nut. But EraThr3 uses properly sized screws, nothing tiny here. It is a nice snug fitment over the barrel nut. I like to call this rail the no thrills rail. No extra bullshit, just a solidly built M-LOK rail. There is a bunch of M-LOK are to mount accessories at the 3, 9 and 6 o'clock positions. There is also openings to mount in between those slots. I have a Arisaka Inline Scout Mount mounted at the 2 o'clock position utilizing these extra areas. I have had nothing loosen on this rail after around 2,000 rounds in various conditions. The EraThr3 M-LOK AR-15 Rail looks sexy, it is sleek and sturdy. As with anything I used Blue Loc-Tite for the mounting screws installation. I like it so much I got one of their full picatinney top rails for my Battle Blaster and saved 2 ounces from the previous M-Lok rail I had on it. EraThr3 is making great stuff and has good customer service.
